Ingredients:
For the Burgers:
• 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 4 slices cheddar cheese or American cheese
• 4 brioche burger buns, toasted
For the Garlic Butter:
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 teaspoon parsley, finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
For Toppings:
• Sliced pickles
• Lettuce leaves
• Sliced tomatoes
Instructions:
1. Make the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt.
- Set aside for spreading on buns.
2. Prepare the Burger Patties:
- Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and form thin patties.
- Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
3. Cook the Patties:
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, pressing gently for a steakhouse sear.
- Place a slice of cheese on half of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.
4. Stack the Burgers:
- Stack a cheese-topped patty over a plain patty to create double burgers.
5. Toast the Buns:
- Spread the garlic butter on the brioche buns and toast them in the skillet until golden and crispy.
6. Assemble the Burgers:
- Place lettuce on the bottom bun.
- Add the double steakburger stack.
- Top with sliced tomatoes and pickles.
- Finish with the toasted top bun.
7. Serve:
- Serve immediately with fries, onion rings, or coleslaw.
