Ingredients:
2 ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
4 cloves of garlic, minced
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps them cook more evenly.
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. You want it hot to get a good sear on the steak.
Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Place the steaks on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness.
While the steaks are cooking, prepare the garlic butter. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.
Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the grill or skillet and let them rest for a few minutes on a cutting board.
While the steaks are resting, pour the garlic butter over the top of each steak, allowing it to melt and coat the surface.
Slice the steaks against the grain and transfer them to serving plates.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious garlic butter steak!
