Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil


Directions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Prepare the Chicken:

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps the seasoning stick better and promotes a crispy exterior.
Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.

Season the Chicken:

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, dried oregano, and dried basil.
Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts and rub it in to coat them evenly.

Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
For extra crispy edges, you can broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Rest and Serve:

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices and keeps the chicken tender.
