Cajun Salmon and Shrimp


Ingredients:

•⁠  ⁠4 salmon fillets
•⁠  ⁠200 grams of shrimp, peeled and deveined
•⁠  ⁠2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
•⁠  ⁠2 tablespoons olive oil
•⁠  ⁠1 bell pepper, chopped
•⁠  ⁠1 onion, chopped
•⁠  ⁠2 cloves garlic, minced
•⁠  ⁠Salt and pepper to taste
•⁠  ⁠Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

1.⁠ ⁠In a large bowl, toss the salmon fillets and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

2.⁠ ⁠Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

3.⁠ ⁠Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.

4.⁠ ⁠Push the veggies to one side of the skillet and add the seasoned salmon fillets. Cook for about 5 minutes on one side, then carefully flip the fillets over.

5.⁠ ⁠Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook everything together for an additional 5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the shrimp are pink and opaque.

6.⁠ ⁠Remove from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

7.⁠ ⁠Serve the Cajun salmon and shrimp with lemon wedges for a burst of flavor.
