Ingredients:
2 prime ribeye steaks, about 1-inch thick
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
For the Garlic Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Let steaks stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Pat steaks dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Brush shrimp with 1 tablespoon olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Grill steaks to your preferred doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest.
4. In a skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in parsley, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Return shrimp to skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
6. Serve steaks with shrimp on top, drizzled with garlic butter sauce.
