Ingredients:
4 large smoked turkey wings
2 cups barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 cups chicken broth
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
3. Place the turkey wings in a large baking dish and rub them with the barbecue sauce mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
4. Scatter the sliced onions and minced garlic around and under the wings.
5. Pour the chicken broth into the baking dish, being careful not to wash off the sauce from the wings.
6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
7. Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (205°C), and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the wings are browned and the sauce is bubbly.
