Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
While the air fryer is preheating, lightly pierce the sausages with a fork a few times. This will allow steam to escape while cooking and prevent them from bursting.
Place the sausages in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each sausage for air circulation.
Lightly spray the sausages with olive oil or your preferred cooking spray. This will help them achieve a crispy exterior.
If desired, sprinkle the sausages with your choice of spices or herbs for extra flavor.
Cook the sausages in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking times may vary depending on the size and thickness of the sausages, so it’s best to check for doneness with a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach at least 160°F (71°C) for pork sausages and 165°F (74°C) for chicken sausages.
Once the sausages are cooked through and have a golden brown exterior, remove them from the air fryer.
Let the sausages rest for a couple of minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Serve the sausages hot with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
