Ingredients:
2 racks baby back ribs (about 4-5 lbs.)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Directions:
1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs with a paper towel for better seasoning absorption.
2. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, black pepper, sea salt, and cayenne pepper.
3. Rub the mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides evenly. Let marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
4. Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C). Wrap ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
5. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.
6. Optional: For a crispy exterior, remove the foil, brush more glaze over the ribs, and broil for 3-5 minutes or until caramelized.
7. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting into individual ribs and serving.
