INGREDIENTS:
1 jar barbecue sauce
DRY RUB
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoon cumin
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1-2 teaspoons cayenne pepper depending on the heat level you like
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees
In a small bowl, mix together the dry rub until fully combined and set aside
Rinse the ribs and pat dry with paper towels
Remove the membrane behind the ribs, I provided a link for instructions above
Apply the dry rub to the ribs, making sure to coat both sides.
Wrap the ribs tightly in foil, meat side up, on a baking sheet
Bake 3 hours for ribs and 2 hours for short ribs, or until fork tender
Unwrap the foil and let the liquid drip off the ribs. Spread your favorite barbecue sauce on the ribs and bake for 5 minutes
Remove and let ribs rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. 4-6 people
