INGREDIENTS:
2 tsp Olive Oil
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup Soy Sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 pound Medium sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ to 1 tsp ground ginger, (optional) Garnish with Chopped Green Onion
PREPARATION:
In a medium bowl, add honey, soy sauce and garlic.
Most of it is used for boiled shrimp and most of it is used for marinated shrimp
Put the shrimp in a giant ziplock bag and pour in some of the marinade.
Squeeze out as much air as possible and seal the package. For the base, refrigerate for 15 minutes or up to 10 hours.
While preparing, in a huge saucepan, add olive oil. Add the shrimp to the pan and fry on one side for 45 seconds.
Flip the shrimp, add the excess marinade, and cook for a few minutes.
Serve with a spoonful of earth-colored rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
